Who We Are
& WHAT WE DO
We are a community church, and our roots are deep in Oak Island and the surrounding area, with a desire to serve our neighbor and to be a community of faith and love- where people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds come together to worship & grow in knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ- to follow His command to “’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Luke 10:27
We do this through our weekly Christ-centered worship services, Bible study, children & youth activities, as well as our annual Evangelistic events like Son- Drenched Beach Ministry, Trunks of Treats, Thanksgiving baskets and Living Nativity and Christmas Eve service.
We cheerfully invite you to join us as we strive to do our Lord's will in this community, as well as through our missionary endeavors abroad.
In addition to our strong community roots, we are also a haven for those who visit the island year-round, and our doors are always open to visitors. We encourage worship while you are here on vacation (and even offer Pier Worship service seasonally) . We say "Come As You Are" because we are a tourist community and you are welcome to welcome to join us for worship service, prayer meeting or any of our activities; do not require "Sunday Church" attire.
Please let us know how we may be of assistance to you, as we have resources available that may help you in your times of need. We are here to minister to you, to share the Word of God and the Love of His Son Jesus Christ to all who will come.
