Sunday MorNings 9:45am

Children's Classes

Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Infant & Crib Babies

During the Sunday School period, our infants and crib babies have a short lesson from the Explore the Bible series, with music, books, and soft toys. During the rest of the time, they play with our fantastic childcare providers.

Toddler to Pre-K 3

Also using the Explore the Bible series, teachers in the 18 months to 3-year-old Sunday School class use storytelling, play, music, crafts and drama to learn about God's love. The activities are flexible to accommodate the individual needs of children.

Kindergarten 4- First Grade

Our kindergarten 4 to 1st-grade students learn about God and His Son Jesus through Bible Studies for Life curriculum, utilizing an exciting combination of stories, music, arts & crafts. They are encouraged to engage their family throughout the week to talk about God by using the Bible Story take-home sheets.

Second & Third Grade

curriculum. This class does a variety of Bible Studies for Life Our 2nd & 3rd grade use the hands on activities, Bible study, and prayer time in order to help our students grow in their faith journey.

Fourth & Fifth Grade

Our 4th & 5th graders use the Explore the Bible curriculum. This class prepares the students to seek a deeper understanding of God's Word, grow in their prayer life, and be purposeful in Bible reading time.

Sixth Grade

Our sixth-grade class is currently using Priscilla Shirer's Armor of God study- looking at each piece of armor as it applies to their everyday life. Students are encouraged to create a daily habit of Scripture study and begin building a healthy, personal prayer life.

Youth

Let no one look down on you because of your youth, but be an example and set a pattern for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in moral purity. 1 Timothy 4:12

This class uses The Gospel Project; a Christ-centered, chronological study that takes students on a journey through the storyline of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. Along the way, students discover the big picture of what God has been doing throughout redemptive history,, and what it means for them. Each lesson is designed to keep students engaged with the truth of God's Word and learn practical application for living in relationship with God and other people.

Adult Classes

Connections Class

Made up of married couples who may or may not have children, as well as engaged couples, Connections uses a conversational approach to study God's Word and it's specific application to couples seeking to build and strengthen their relationships. The class goal is to help families and individuals deepen their walk with the Lord, making disciples to change the world.

Women of the World (WOW!) Class

For all women- whatever their age or stage in life- WOW women fellowship together, learn from one another and grow in support for each other with the common thread of "Christ our Lord and Savior, who is our hope". We want you to know that whatever season of life you are in, God will meet you there. Our goal is to understand who we are in Christ and to grow deeper in relationship with him.

Fellowship Class

Fellowship Bible Study Class is for mid-life and senior adult couples and singles who want to learn how to share their faith with family, friends, and others. Welcoming all newcomers, the class opens with a time of fellowship, followed by focusing on prayer concerns. Priority is given to the teaching of the Word (class participation encouraged, but not required). Our purpose is to build deep relationships between ourselves and Jesus Christ, as well as each other.

J.O.Y. Class

J.O.Y. Bible Study class is for mid-life and senior adult couples and singles that look for ways to grow more like Jesus each day and seek to be witnesses that will encourage others to want to be like Jesus. Emphasizing a Jesus first, Others second, and Yourself last approach, class lessons consist of a book by book study of the Bible- seeking an understanding of gospel application to everyday living, and how we must grow in word and deed to please God, and our Savior Jesus Christ.

Seekers Class

Consisting of married couples and singles ranging from 40's and beyond- some with older children still at home and some having adult children who have "left the nest". Seekers Bible Study includes a time of fellowship and sharing, a time of prayer, and a time of study. We use curriculum which best applies to our demographics, expressed needs and God's call upon us individually and as a group.

Mixed Bible Study Class

We are an active group of seniors who don't consider ourselves seniors. You are only as old as you feel and we feel very young! Our class is mainly comprised of widows, widowers, and married couples, over the age of 60 who are long-time Christians with no children at home. We put great emphasis on making our visitors feel welcome and part of the FBCOI family. Our group's goal is to continue to build on Christ-centered relationships that have developed over the years and to serve one another in our daily activities.
